'Don't be afraid to make mistakes, because you've done nothing to avoid making mistakes.' said Albert Einstein. By nature, we are creatures created to experience and learn. And our experiences don't always go the way we expect. After that, it is in our hands. Should the negative result of our experience turn into regret or experience? There are two essential reasons why I think we should allow our mistakes to turn into experiences: mistakes empower us and we learn from them.
First of all, in my opinion,
everything happens, everything grows, and everything passes. The experiences we
have gained in our short life make us stronger. It is also up to the individual
what to do in the face of experiences that do not always go well. You can
constantly remind yourself of the mistake you made by wishing you had never
tried, or you can turn your mistake into an experience by saying that it is
better to have done it than not to have tried at all. Mistakes are a learning
opportunity presented to you. It is the option that shows that you should
accept instead of denying it. If we accept it, we will prevent our future
mistakes and prevent our regrets. Regret is a natural emotion that we have to
feel by nature. Stop looking for a single solution or way out for yourself.
There are many more ways than you think.
Additionally, things may go in ways
you didn't always plan. While the choices we make are in our hands, we may not
always be able to influence the outcome. Your past life, your wrong choices or
your petty mistakes are gone if you are to learn from them. We change moment by
moment, but we do not accept that change is inevitable. Accept and learn from
your past mistakes with change.
As a result, mistakes should turn
into experience because the lessons learned from mistakes and experiences allow
you to appreciate the time you spend and make better decisions for the future.
As my mother always said, “instead of saying I wish I had tried; say I tried,
but it didn't work”.
