Education is important for people from the very beginning. It has been provided in different ways from ancient times to today. With the pandemic, a new form of education entered our lives: Online education. Face-to-face education, which many people prefer, has been replaced by online education. Face-to-face learning is better than online learning because the interactions and examples of face-to-face learning will benefit the learner the most. Face-to-face education and online education differ from each other in two main ways: productivity, and sociability.
First, face-to-face education is quite different from online education regarding productivity and sociability. To begin with, face-to-face learning promotes easier learning through “hands-on” instruction. Face-to-face learning allows students to get a better understanding by asking questions. Students become more active in the classroom with their friends and teachers. Also, they more communicate with people in the class. They may socialize by joining various clubs and attending various events.
Second, online education, on the other hand, differs
from face-to-face education in terms of productivity and sociability. Unlike,
face-to-face education, online education takes place alone at home. Students’ day
is static because they do not have any preparation for class. Furthermore, they
become increasingly antisocial because they do not participate in any
activities. This affects them badly because they are not together with their
friends and teachers in the classroom environment.
