Working from Home (Office)

Many of us work for a company or a government. Some people have to go to the office, but some people do not have to go to the office and these people work at home. Working from home increased a lot during Covid-19 and many people like this working style, but others still prefer working in an office. Whichever people prefer, there are some differences between working from home and working in an office: comfort and cost.

First of all, working from home is quite different from working in an office regarding comfort and cost. To begin with, working from home provides more comfort than working in an office. You can work in your bed or if you do not want to work at your home, you can also work in a café or a park. Therefore, working at home reduces costs of companies because if employees do not come to the office, companies won’t have to pay employees expenses, such as public transportation and meals.

Secondly, working in an office, on the other hand, differs from working from home in terms of comfort and cost. Unlike working from home, working in the office has less comfort because employees have to stay in the office until check-out time, and this reduces the comfort. Moreover, companies have to pay employees’ expenses when working in the office and this increases costs.

In brief, working from home and working in an office are different in terms of comfort and cost. People who want to work should consider these differences and choose an appropriate working style for themselves.
