Education plays a crucial role
in society via various forms. It has developed a unique ability in adapting
itself in modern times. Two of the most common forms are online education and
face to face education. But there are two main differences between them in
terms of academic productivity and time effectiveness.
Firstly, they differ from each
other regarding productivity. Starting with the Coronavirus breakout, online
education began to dominate teaching and learning environments. It has been
used prevalently in so many areas since then. It has been noted that it saves a
lot of energy. It also makes life easier because it is not restricted to place.
However, online education has not been favourable at all among students. Due to
technical problems such as audio delay and connection challenges, it is not
accepted as a productive and efficient form. Many researchers agree that it
best works in blended forms.
Secondly, they have
considerable differences in time management. Online educations seems to be
advantageous because it saves the time wasted for commuting. Students can enjoy
more free time and even make new hobbies. However, it is face to face
educations that improves our communication skills, feel in a more real-like and
comfortable conversations with their teachers.
To sum up, education serves the students the same aim via different means. Online education promises more room for crowded classes while face to face education brings better quality. This is not a dilemma if the students have a word in choosing the system.
